Ichabod Spoonbill, more commonly known as Ian Berger, teaches English and paddleboarding in the Hudson Valley. He lives in Peekskill, NY with his family. In 2017 he founded Hudson Valley H2O, a nonprofit creating a paddling and environmental education center on the Peekskill waterfront. Its goal is to provide water access and education to all, no matter the income. When not paddling, he’s usually being silly with his kids, watching Star Trek with his wife, or writing science fiction.
